I’m Mohammed Shaikh, the co-owner of Queens Premium.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I started this business because I identified that the south ethnic population in Canada was creating a demand for a product that could assist in their day to day cooking. To elaborate further, a large portion of south ethnic dishes (that is, Indian, Pakistani, etc.) require the addition of fresh fried onions with no flour coating when creating popular dishes like Biryani, Curries, Haleem, and several other dishes.

While researching the market, I noticed that only one product in retail stores sold no flour-coated fried onions at the time. So, I decided to launch my own product with better packaging and even better taste. After experimenting with different kinds of onions, oils, and packagings, we identified the best ingredients and materials for our product.

Today, we’ve been in business for over two years, and have successfully enhanced our sales. During the first year, we managed to sell our product in only two retail stores. But, by the second year, we were able to get into over thirty stores, seven restaurants, the kitchens of ten banquet halls, and even sell online through our own store as well as on Amazon.

I love the work that I do as I enjoy knowing that I can provide my customers with a premium product made from natural ingredients and devoid of unhealthy perspectives. I also like knowing that my product can help make daily cooking quicker and easier and make eating ethenic food a bit more flavorful.

Through our brand, we aim to benefit our consumers by providing them with products of the highest quality! At the same time, we want to be innovative, honest, respectful, and passionate with our products, so they stand out in the best way.

In the last two years, a clear sense of direction and understanding of what our customers need and providing them with just that has helped expand significantly. Focusing on our customers has been a big part of our success, and we look forward to keep satisfying them by meeting and exceeding their expectations.

We enjoy making sure that my customers are happy with our products, as it keeps our business running, and helps keep our ethenic cuisine alive.

When I’m not producing our premium fried onions, I like to research the market to identify other potential products to add to our catalog. My work is my hobby and passion, so I want to dedicate as much time as possible to it.
